Saved me days of work. Removed ugly VC shortcodes from 100s of blog posts in a matter of seconds.

This plugin has conflicts with many plugins that use shrotcodes, and all it does is break your pages. No criteria for what a „broken“ shortcode is – it’s completely arbitrary. The plugin just decides, and if you need that shortcode you’re out of luck. You need to manually whitelist shortcodes, which can take forever for complex sites, and since the word „broken“ doesn’t seem to mean anything, your site can break before you even find out this plugin scrubbed out a shrotcode. Ultimately it’s a waste of time and causes undue stress.

Very good

The difference between front-end removal and database removal wasn’t made clear. The lite version of this plugin doesn’t permanently remove the shortcodes; if you uninstall the plugin they will come back.
